HBL ICT are the local RA for smartcard services across Hertfordshire. If you require support, please contact the team as soon as possible for assistance.
Reasons to contact HBL ICT RA:
- Identity checks of prospective smartcard users and issuing smart cards.
- Unlocking /renewal of Smartcards.
- Assigning an appropriate access profile to the health professional’s role approved by the employing organisation.
- Training and support of smart card users.
- Require smartcard readers.
- Require a name change.
- Are leaving an organisation.
- If you Want to become a local smartcard administrator/ID checker.

This service is available to staff with email addresses linked to their smartcard profiles, eliminating the need for a visit to the Registration Authority, of taking your smartcard to an approved RA sponsor.
