LPC Locality Event – Upper Lea Valley, Stort Valley, Lower Lea Valley – Public Health
7th November 2019 6.45pm, Networking and Light Buffet
Stanboroughs Conservative Club Conduit Ln, Hoddesdon EN11 8EP
The Public Health event “prevention is better than cure” is a CPD portfolio opportunities. This event includes a focus on making every contact count (MECC). MECC is an approach to behaviour change that utilises the numerous interactions you and your team have in your pharmacy each day. These interactions can encourage changes in behaviour that have a positive effect on the health and wellbeing of your patients and customers. The training offers a refresher no matter how experienced.
We encourage attendance from all contractors and in addition to the CPD learning the evening will also give you the opportunity to meet your colleagues, discuss your local area and understand what is taking place across Hertfordshire.
Please note that at the event we will now be putting aside at least 30 minutes at the end of each evening for the following PCNs to get together in order for you to discuss your PCN lead in order to meet the relevant requirement for PQS:
- Hertford and Rurals PCN
- Hoddesdon and Broxbourn PCN
- Lea Valley Health PCN
- Stort Valley and Villages PCN
- Ware and Rurals PCN
It is therefore crucial a pharmacy in each of these PCNs sends a representative to the below events.
If you and your colleagues wish to sign up to attend once of the events, please send your name(s) and pharmacy name to –info@cpherts.org.uk.
