CPH Annual General Meeting 2025 Update

On Wednesday 2 July 2025 we held our annual general meeting (AGM) at the Fielder Centre in Hatfield.

AGM Agenda

Networking with colleagues and exhibitors

We had a number of local organisations and sponsors who set up stalls at our networking marketplace. This was a fanatstic start to the evening with many contractors gaining helpful insights and building relationships with new contacts.

CPH – Sharing experiences and local solutions

CPH ran an interactive session, asking contractors to work with others on their tables to discuss best practice and the challenges they are facing right now.

The feedback almost unanimously outlined the following:

Best Practice:

  • Complete forms in advance where possible for services.
  • Upskill and train pharmacy teams so it is a whole team effort to perform services.
  • Utilise appointment systems for all services. Allowing for future planning.

Challenges:

  • Incorrect referrals from Gp surgery’s
  • Dispensing items at a loss/Drug tariff prices
  • MDS Trays and Reviews
  • Difficulties sourcing medication forcing patients to go elsewhere

We will be taking this feedback to our committee meeting on 16 July to discuss how we can help with these challenges going forward.

Baldev gave a fantastic talk on maximising your pharmacy’s income and reflected on his personal experiences, providing some great insight for pharmacy teams to consider. For more information on this you can look at the NPA website.

Anil joined us at the AGM to have an open discussion on the future of community pahrmacy and the CPCF negotiations.
