Evolve 2026 Highlights
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Evolve 2026, our Annual General Meeting and Networking Event, held on 16 July 2026 at the Fielder Centre in Hatfield.
The evening brought together pharmacy owners, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, NHS colleagues and sector partners from across Hertfordshire to celebrate another successful year, hear from national experts and explore the future of community pharmacy.
Alongside our AGM, delegates took part in two thought-provoking panel discussions on supervision reforms and independent prescribing, gained practical insights into the 2026/27 Community Pharmacy Contract and celebrated the outstanding achievements of pharmacy teams from across the county at our annual awards.

Networking & Exhibition
The evening began with plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues, meet exhibitors and share ideas with partners from across the sector.
Annual General Meeting
Members reflected on the past year, approved the 2025/26 Annual Report and Accounts, and heard about CPH’s priorities for the year ahead.
Expert Panel: Supervision, Delegation & Operational Reality
National experts from the National Pharmacy Association (NPA) and the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) explored one of the profession’s biggest upcoming changes, discussing legal accountability, safe delegation, SOPs and how pharmacy teams can prepare for the December supervision reforms.
Expert Panel: Independent Prescribing – Local & National Outlook
Representatives from the NPA, NHS Central East ICB and local independent prescribers discussed the move from PGDs to autonomous prescribing, strengthening relationships with general practice and what pharmacies need to successfully deliver independent prescribing services.
Navigating the 2026/27 Community Pharmacy Contract
Delegates heard practical advice on making the most of the new contractual framework and supporting the long-term sustainability of community pharmacy.
Community Pharmacy Hertfordshire Awards
We celebrated the innovation, dedication and commitment shown by pharmacy teams across Hertfordshire, recognising excellence in clinical services, integration and patient care.
