Standards for revalidation reflective account in 2026

This is a reminder that the standards for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to select from for their reflective account, when completing revalidation, have been set for 2026.

If a pharmacy technician’s or pharmacists’ submission date is on or after 1 January 2026, they are now able to reflect against any of the nine standards for pharmacy professionals. The requirement to reflect against one or more of the standards remains.

Expanding the standards which can be used for reflection will enable pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to focus on the specific aspects of their practice they consider to be most relevant. GPhC have made this change as part of their continuing review of the current revalidation framework.
