Type 2 Diabetes: Healthwatch Hertfordshire want to hear views from your local community
Around 4 million people in the UK have Type 2 Diabetes and more than 2.4 million people are at high risk of developing the disease – and these figures are continuing to increase at an alarming rate.
In partnership with the NHS Integrated Care Board (ICB) Primary Care Workstream, Healthwatch Hertfordshire has launched a survey to explore public awareness and understanding of Type 2 Diabetes and whether people with a diagnosis feel supported in managing their condition.
This survey is open to all Hertfordshire residents, whether they have a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes or not. The survey is available here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/HwHDiabetes
Attached is a flyer to promote the work – please encourage your patients to take part by sharing information about the project.
