St Albans Integrated Urgent Care Hub
This is a direct booking pathway from local pharmacy providers into St Albans Integrated Urgent Care Hub (IUCH) – this is not a commissioned service as there is no additional funding.
The service is a direct pathway to book patients who have minor illness and minor injury complaints only directly to IUCH.
There are currently 3 pharmacies that are offering the service, with IUCH phasing more pharmacies over the next coming weeks:

HUC: NHS 111 and Pharmacy First Poster
HUC have prepared a poster to support participants in the Pharmacy First Service with information on how to utilise HUC’s NHS 111 healthcare professional line. This line is accessed by calling 111 and selecting Option 3, whereby a healthcare professional will arrange a call back.
