NHSBSA Online Webinar for Pharmacy Teams

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) host webinars to provide an insight into how they process and reimburse prescriptions. These sessions take place online and last approximately 60 minutes. During the sessions, pharmacy teams are shown how NHSBSA handle prescription submissions and are given an overview of the most common errors found on prescriptions submitted for payment.

The webinars also offer guidance on endorsing prescriptions as well as tips on managing and avoiding referred back prescriptions. Pharmacy teams involved in sorting and submitting prescriptions for reimbursement may benefit from attending as this is a chance to ask questions and to adopt new practices to prevent payment errors.
