NHS Blood Pressure Check Service Campaign launch

On Monday 11 March 2024, NHSE England launches a new “Get your blood pressure checked” campaign. The campaign encourages adults aged 40+, to go to the nearest participating pharmacy for a free blood pressure check. NHSE have created material to promote the campaign and this is likely to drive increased footfall into community pharmacies with people asking for their free blood pressure test. Brief your pharmacy team about the campaign so that they can engage with people asking for a BP check. This is a chance to support the wider NHSE agenda and build relationships with people who may not normally visit your pharmacy.

If your pharmacy delivers the NHS Blood Pressure Check Service, please ensure your details are up to date in the ‘Find a Pharmacy’ look up-tool and order the free pharmacy campaign pack from the Campaign Resource Centre. You will receive a counter display unit, posters, consultation cards, pharmacy bag inserts and a briefing document – available while stocks last. Additional digital materials are also available and include digital screens; social media assets; and a communications toolkit.
