Healthwatch Pharmacy Survey

Healthwatch Hertfordshire has been commissioned to explore public perceptions of using community pharmacies. This work follows their 2023 report, which examined the opportunities for local pharmacies.

This is important work and Healthwatch would like to hear from as many people as possible. They have heard from nearly 300 people since starting their engagement, and hope to build on this success to ensure high levels of representation across all communities.

This is where they need your help:

  • What are the barriers preventing people in accessing community pharmacies?
  • What are people most likely to visit community pharmacies for?
  • Experiences of using community pharmacy – knowledge, advice, satisfaction, ease of access.
  • What health concerns are people most comfortable discussing with a pharmacist?
